Something of an experiment inspired by grainier, tape sounds, giving it an almost "found sounds" quality while maintaining a strong compositional structure.
'In' begins with a steady drone replete with pops and hiss. This eventually gives way to swelling strings which simmer until coming to a boil midway through, leading back to our drone.
'Bridge' is half soundscape, half song. This is a simple chord structure, played out continually over ever climbing inversions. The soundscape fades and familiar instruments take over, leading to our only passage of steady rhythm and deep bass, before being lead away by a fragile thread-like whimper.
'Out' returns to our breath-like swells, this time molding and weaving through cascading sounds over the tracks runtime. Once again, strings lead us through a simple, mantra like chord structure, which is taken away by a gentle bell-like tone as we come to an end.
